The Dutch Queen Unplugged performs
Fifty years ago, the legendary albums A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races were released — the perfect reason to celebrate with a brand-new Dutch Queen Convention 2026, themed Black & White. If you’re a Queen fan, you absolutely can’t miss Saturday, March 7!
Fans from the Netherlands and across Europe will come together to enjoy the music and stories of Freddie, Brian, John, and Roger. Expect at least three international guests of honour from the Queen universe (to be announced later) who will share fascinating anecdotes. Of course, you’ll also have the opportunity to ask them questions — and maybe even take a photo with them!
There will be plenty of chances to expand your Queen collection:
- Purchase Queen memorabilia at the market stalls
- Join the raffle to win exclusive Queen items
- Take part in the charity auction!
In the evening, there will be an acoustic performance by The Dutch Queen Unplugged, and we will close with a banging afterparty Freddie’s karaoke with DJ Freddie-live.

- VIP Ticket with exclusive Queen collector’s item: €95 (plus €3 service fee)
VIP ticket holders receive a unique Queen collector’s item, similar in style to the one from Dutch Queen Convention 2024.

By Car / Public Transport
Across from Theater Koningshof you’ll find Shopping Center Koningshoek, which has a large free parking area.
However, we recommend coming by public transport!
- Train/Metro: Check the NS, 9292 or another travel app for the best route.
From any train station, the easiest way is to take the metro.
Get off at Metro Station Maassluis-West — Theater Koningshof is about a 7-minute walk from there.
The metro runs towards Rotterdam until approximately 00:55. For connecting (night) trains, please check the NS app. - Bus: The Koningshoek bus stop is right in front of the theatre and is served by line 126 (Schiedam – Maassluis and back).
Dress Code
This year, we’re delving back about 50 years—to the glorious Queen era between A Night At The Opera and A Day At The Races. In other words: between the white cover and the black cover… an era full of contrast, glitter, and brilliant music!
So: wear something black, white, or maybe both. Want to add a touch of color? Feel free—a little flair never hurts. 😎 And who knows… maybe your outfit will steal the show and win you a prize.

Enjoy the Theater Koningshof Buffet, offering a choice of meat, fish, or vegetarian dishes.
