We are an officially registered foundation, established before a notary in 2023, born out of a shared love for Queen’s music. Because really—what could be more beautiful than that? Queen’s music makes us happy or moves us to tears, makes us dance, sing along, clap, stomp our feet, and inspires us. In short, it touches and stirs us to the depths of our souls. We are proud to be part of the Queen universe — whether it’s their music, news about former or current band members, collective or solo projects, private ventures, or unexpected side paths. Queen makes our hearts beat faster.
Our Mission
As a foundation, our goal—working closely with the Dutch Queen Fan Club led by Hannie Roggeveen—is to organize fun and friendly Queen-related activities and events from a fan’s perspective. These events are open to everyone. We aim not only to connect Queen fans (both in the Netherlands and worldwide), but also to keep Queen’s musical legacy alive for generations to come.
Our Events
- The annual Freddie’s Dinner, held every year on November 24, the day Freddie Mercury passed away, accompanied by a fitting musical program. For information about the most recent edition, visit the Freddie’s Dinner page.
- The official Dutch Queen Convention, featuring national and international guests from the Queen world and performances by tribute bands. This event takes place every few years. For details about the latest edition, visit the Dutch Queen Convention page.
- We also plan to develop more activities for Queen fans in the near future.

Our Finances
The foundation aims to remain financially healthy. That’s why we charge admission for our events — but making a profit is not our goal. All proceeds are used to fund the events we organize, and part of the revenue goes to AIDS Fund Netherlands. Because we operate on a non-profit basis, it has been decided that if the foundation should ever be dissolved, any remaining balance will be donated to AIDS Fund Netherlands.
